The Beauty Abounds stamp set and the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits are amazing! The stamp set has a flourish with flowers on it that has some doodling which I love! It also has two butterflies and one is flying sideways. There is some great sentiments for making cards for close friends and a pretty hello to reach out to someone you have not spoken to in awhile. The Butterfly Beauty Thinlits is pretty amazing as well! I love the connected butterflies. You can either use it like I did on my card or you can cut them apart. There are 20 Thinlits in this set. How sweet is that!!!
This card is super easy to make!
I cut out background butterfly in Highland Heather then the other butterfly in Pineapple Punch. I put glue only on the body of the butterflies on the Highland Heather and then stuck the Pineapple Punch butterfly on top matching the bodies together. Once they were attached I add Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the body of the butterflies. To attach it to the Whisper White mat I used glue dots just on the bodies of the butterflies.
Before attaching the butterfly onto the Whisper White mat I stamped the flourish all over the background in Pineapple Punch. Then I attached a Daffodil Delight ribbon (The ribbon is a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog) down the side. Once that was done and the butterfly was attached I used Snail and attached it to the Gorgeous Grape card base.
On the inside I took another piece of Whisper white and stamped part of the flourish and the smaller butterfly in the top left corner.
I hope you will give this card a try! There are so many different versions that can be done. If you do give it a try I would love to see what you make.
Card base 8 1/5 x 5 1/5
Whisper White mat 5 x 3 3/4 Front and inside are the same.
Marcee did something totally different with Beauty Abounds. I so love what she came up with! Make sure to hop over to her blog and check it out.
